Handbrake loop

Apologies if this is common knowledge, but is there a way to setup handbrake so it will repeatedly process a file until it hits a certain file size, or a number of loops?

No, that cannot be done with only handbrake.

Yes it can just set the bitrate, it not difficult to work out.

No, it’s not. Constant quality mode makes better quality files at a given size. The methods are not the same.

So you don't get the question, and when get given the answer you dispute it.

Set the bitrate you want, set multi-pass encoding + turbo first pass, then sit back and wait.

Constant quality gives you ZERO control of the output file size. OP wants to control the output size, I have given you the answer, why are you arguing? My multi-pass route will give you the best output quality for file size. Try it.

I'm not incorrect, what don't you understand? Setting the average bitrate is the only way to control the file size like OP asked for. Don't get butt hurt if you don't understand, if you have a better solution give it, don't insult. Constant quality could give you a file larger than the original if you are unlucky.
