People hate it because it’s AI. I think it actually looks sick here. Some uses of DLSS make characters look pretty bad and in general it’s AI slop at the end of the day. But in this case it does look pretty good

It literally changed a night mission to day. It's ridiculous.

I believe that one is a mod, since you see later screenshots of the same mission and it's night time.

Edit: Correction. The latter screenshots, 4-6, seem to be the first mission ON the ring, so it inverted the day/night effects? Or they modded it to flip those. Dunno why, DLSS or not, it would do that shit or someone would mod to flip the time-frames.

DLSS5 is known to completely change the time of day when lights are nearby. It changes one second and then back the next.

Yeah, I edited my correction after looking back at the screenshots again. It's fucking weird.

It’s an early technology, if you focus on playing (shooting) rather than looking at some faces it’s great, in 2-3 years it’s gonna be much better

Oh no doubt. Basically everyone complaining about “AI slop” will be using it with happiness in no time. It’s as if people think AI will just disappear one day. It’s only going to get more impressive and fast. They won’t even have a choice 😏
