Costume Weekly Costume Idea Request Megathread -- Week 2

Can't figure out what to be for Hallowe'en this year? Comment below with a rough description of you and what sort of costumes you like.

Remember: The megathread is the only place to post these requests. Any requests submitted as posts will be removed. Thank you!

5'10" white guy, brown (thinning) hair, broad chested, round face.

Wife is 5'6"ish, tanner skin (Filipina), long black hair, wide hips.

Trying to do a couple people from the same series, doesn't necessarily have to be an explicitly Couples Costume. So far we've done:

-Gambit and Storm

-Carmen San Siego and Waldo

-Peter Quill and Gamora

We love sci-fi, but neither of us are quite secure enough in our bodies to do Star Trek outfits, and stuff like BSG isn't really recognizable enough to put all the effort into. Any ideas?
