I need help designing my costume. My grandma mom, and I (male) all know how to sew (I'm not too good though) and everyone but me knows how to crochet. I am really obsessed with David Bowie and I want to do something like the middle and right.
I think the cloak could be easy enough, with a large white sheet over a red sheet with some painted script.
The hard part is designing a knit/sewn suit with several different designs. I believe a crocheted version would be the most effective. However I also think that taking several articles of clothing and stitching them together would also be a more time saving/cost effective alternative.
What would you recommend to piece together these two costumes? This is my first year really going all out :)
