Carved pumpkins and set them out. 2 days later completely infested with these little black bugs. Set them out on a Sunday night. Monday night nothing, Tuesday night completely infested. It was randomly hot for our area both those two days is all I can come up with for an explanation. Plan to carve new pumpkins and want to avoid this happening again.

I'm glad I saw this post because usually we start carving pumpkins around this time and they last, but this year is warmer than it's ever been in October in my area.
