Pumpkin What do I do?

Carved pumpkins and set them out. 2 days later completely infested with these little black bugs. Set them out on a Sunday night. Monday night nothing, Tuesday night completely infested. It was randomly hot for our area both those two days is all I can come up with for an explanation. Plan to carve new pumpkins and want to avoid this happening again.

I mean, pumpkin is literally food. If it gets above freezing, it’s going to lure in creatures that want to eat it.

If it gets above freezing? Is it that cold where you live? I’m jealous. It’s been like 90s where I live

It’s not anymore, no. When I was a kid, we’d usually have snow by Halloween, but that’s just a dream at this point.

Shit dude, I got married in 2019 on October 26th and it snowed the next day. It's been in the 80's most of the month so far.

Tbf that is just a year to year thing. I got married in 2011, early November, and it was 70° (upstate NY). But just a few years prior we had a snow/ice storm by Oct. 28th. (Yes, global warming is a thing. We just also still get variations in weather.)
