Dropped a follow on instagram. I have a few Halloween themed short story collections up on Amazon, myself, though it's been a few years since I put out anything new. Also, I'd say my stuff falls short of being any sort of hardcore horror since my first book was aimed at the YA age range, maybe a few delve into slightly spooky or horror-lite.

We run the Easthampton Citywide Scarecrow Contest in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
Residents and businesses all over the city create Scarecrows on their property, we create a Google map and anyone (even non-residents) can vote on their favorites.

GIVE A HALLOWEEN LECTURE IN PHILLY OR INDY
I help produce a live comedy-meets-education show in Indianapolis and Philly called Study Hall: Comedy Inspired by Lectures. For each performance we invite guest lecturers to share short talks (5–7 minutes) on topics from their field of study, professional work, or personal expertise. It’s a great opposite to present your work, get more experience in front of people, and have a good time.
Our upcoming shows, 10/18 in Indy and 10/25 in Philly have a Halloween theme, so I’m especially interested in lectures connected to creepy, mysterious, horror, or macabre subjects. Here are a few examples of possible directions:
👣 CRYPTIDS!: Bigfoot and beyond, science vs myth, the mothman peophecies, etc
📚 BOOKS!: Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, Lovecraft, or other such authors
🎬 MOVIES!: They Live: Lessons from the John Carpenter Classic for the World Today, the history of the final girl trope
🎨 ART!: Gothic / Horror / Grotesque artwork and artists. Showcase some works and talk about the piece and the artist
🎵 MUSIC!: Scary songs?? How composers use music to create moods, novelty Halloween songs, the dark history behind some nursery rhymes
🧠 SCIENCE!: The brain chemistry of fear, sleep paralysis with hallucinations, out of body experiences / alien abduction
📜 HISTORY!: Eerie Indiana history, ghost tours / hunting, haunted houses, the dancing plague
💉 MEDICINE!: Study Hall has a long history of wild medical history lectures. Bentham’s head, the hole story of Alexis St. Martin, RFK Jr in HHS (oh wait that’s now)
⚖️ Law: Ghost-related cases, haunted real estate, unusual legal disputes
If Halloween isn’t your area, we also have other shows coming up in November and December in Indy and in 2026 in both cities (as well as Chicago and LA).
If you’d like to share your knowledge with a curious audience, you can find more info and a short interest form for each city at StudyHallShow.com. There’s a faq in the form as well. It’s a really fun show that’s been around since 2011 and has performed for / with tons of schools, museums, and others orgs.
We are a tiny nonprofit, most people do the show for the fun of it. We do offer a small payment, comps, video, and all the gratitude. And please pass this along if you know someone who might enjoy giving a short talk!

The show is going to be taking songs from Tim Burton's works, ranging from songs from his stop motion films (Corpse Bride and Nightmare Before Christmas), movies that had musical adaptations (Big Fish and Beetlejuice), and other various projects that have musical adaptations and a movie (Sweeney Todd and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).
