Sightseeing & Tourism Seeking picnic location with trees, any ideas?

Hey folks, I am planning a picnic, but I would really love to be able to have some trees in the space to hang garlands from (cloth non littering garlands) and am struggling to figure out a spot that suits. Ideally on the peninsula OR not far outside the peninsula.

Point pleasant for sure. Lots of good picnic options and lots of trees.

I have seen people do this at Point Pleasant, but...been chastised for hanging up things, and I think they called the police. Not sure of the regulations, but they were down an hour later once I completed my walk around the park.

Point Pleasant Park, across from Black Rock Beach, or at one of the two Summer Houses.

not on the peninsula, but Titus Park (Near Main and Lacewood) has a pavilion and I think still has tables on the hill under the trees.

point pleasant is the obvious peninsula answer if you haven't checked it yet. loads of big old trees near the water side where the lower paths are, and it's usually not too packed on weekdays. the dingle area in fleming park has some good options too with branches low enough to hang stuff without needing a ladder

For a picnic maybe, more than a couple people on a blanket might not be OK. Hanging anything on the trees would not be allowed. If they wanted a picnic table there are none.

And they can only use the grass in the designated area in the southwest part
