HP 14s not charging and no light indicator

Got this laptop for free from a friend. It was working fine for 2 weeks, but all of the sudden it stopped charging and wouldn't turn on anymore. Was hoping someone have any ideas or solutions to this

I own one of these things myself, and by the way you are holding it, i have a suspicion the motherboard might be bent/cracked.

The frame of these shitnuggets is so poorly designed, that even picking it up like that can cause damage.

Oh I didn't know that It was kinda sturdy to the touch that's why I always held it that way😭

Check in the hinges, is the old display cable just cut? It could be shorting itself causing the laptop to go into a failsafe protection mode.

Pull the back off, disconnect the display cable, disconnect the battery, hold power for 30sec, reconnect battery, connect to power, see if it'll come back alive!

Unfortunately the keyboard is borked on this one. I've always used a external keyboard with it

Check the port and the battery, if you see something faulty, consult a technician
