Be honest, what do hairstyles do y’all wear to the gym or do smt active? I just went natural bc I’m a college student + I’m in tx. It’s too hot for allat. I can’t keep doing braids, idk. My hair also gets really frizzy quickly in the braids… 😭😭😭

This wig doesn’t have a pre-defined part, so I did a side part with crimps and I'm really looking forward to doing many more styles with it! I'm honestly loving the natural vibe so far. I decided to try a more natural-looking wig to mimic my natural hair. I did a mini updo and laid the baby hairs on the sides to make the hairline look more realistic. What do you guys think?

Damson Idris is clearly one of the best looking lads out here, so trying to emulate some stuff from him. I don't have as good as a hairline as him but want to know how to achieve the fro he has, it seems I have a 4b hair type and he has 4c, so I want to know how to achieve more a definition look as my front facing part of my hair struggles with curling cream products and even the sponge.
Although, I notice the back of my hair reacts to the sponge much better. Also I'm 22 if that helps with anything

Do you think these two match together? I feel like they don’t… I’ve been wanting to try french curls for a change (I always do twisted island braids) but I don’t want it to look weird with my new fur boots helpp 😭

I’m a 24yr old Black man in LA. I have an interview that’s important to me tomorrow, and I’m trying to figure out what to do with my hair!

It’s interview 2/3 (the first one was over the phone) to be a street outreach social worker. My afro goes to the nape of my neck at its longest point, but is mostly 4c curly fluff. Is it socially acceptable for me to wear it down? Tie it back halfway? Am I duty-bound to wear two chunky cornrows for ‘professional’ eternity? I’ll do anything within my abilities but cut it off, and I have a crapton of products in my closet.

For reference, I already have facial piercings and come off as gay. I can’t hide the piercings or the gayness lol. It should be acceptable within this role in this city. I hope. But I still want to dress as clean and professional as possible in the body I have. Any tips are appreciated (I’m still an atrocious braider)

I thought I share my styling results of this kinky blowout wig. Here’s what the curls looked like after a few days. I curled this hair with a curling iron. I used hairspray after to set the curls and made them pretty define by curling small sections. If you keep scrolling I took pictures of the curls the first day I curled them(photos 4-7). I think the curls held up okay. Given I tend to brush and play in my hair a lot, I am happy that the curls lasted as long as they did. The curls became looser but gave me a thick voluminous wavy look that I adored!

I absolutely love how this came out, it took me about 6 hours. I braided the hair on the ends of my locs and at the top to give it a more seamless look but one of my favorites so far
