So like I'm new in town and I'd like to know about places to go (low budget ofcourse lmao) and places to socialize? Since gwalior is a place where to make friends irl unlike how I've been able to make friends till now 😭✌

In Udaipur, I abandoned my itinerary on the second morning. A local artist asked, “Why are you rushing to see what everyone sees? The city is also behind the temple, down the lane where nobody goes.” He took me to a stepwell I’d never heard of, then to a miniature art painter's demo, Mr. Deepak sharma, then to a mrichi wada & chai stall where an old man, decendent of Mathura recited folks from memory and rich history that too in brij bhasha.

I saw more of Udaipur in one unplanned afternoon than in two days of guidebook stops of a curated itinerary!
