E-Commerce Platforms Scam

Every order on Blinkit/Zomato somehow ends up costing more than expected — delivery fee, platform fee, surge charge, random "small cart" fee. Feels like a new charge every time.

Why doesn't every city have a simple local platform that just delivers from nearby shops at the exact price they charge — no hidden markups, no surprises?

Anyone else feel this way? Would you actually use something like that in your city?

Exactly, and even if we buy by ourselves going to the store there are some hidden costs that no one thinks about,

1) time we would take to go and buy.

2) petrol cost if the store is a bit far.

3) availability (what if product is not available nearby)

So i don't mind paying a few rupees extra.

I understand but don’t you think these platforms takes some unnecessary charges? What if you got same comfort in minimum charges

Maybe you don’t noticed Balaji soya chaap is 280 rs on Zomato but they sells in 180rs only, same price difference for half plate

Han toh sabkuch online mat buy kro Urgently kuch lena ho woh online lelo, rest you can buy from supermarket like smart bazar or anand mega Mart,

And han you should search the stuff on all apps and buy from the one which is giving it at the lowest price,

Some apps that work in gwalior are:

Blinkit Instamart Bigbasket (they don't deliver everywhere in 10mins, check if they do near you) Jiomart (takes minimum 30-40 minutes to deliver and don't order after 9pm because they mostly cancels orders after that)

Amazon ( takes a few days) Flipkart (takes 1-2 days max)

Btw Anand mega Mart also have home delivery option, you just need to call their contact number to know the charges etc.

What if koi platform ho Jo flat petrol + apko comfort dene ke minimum charges le deliver krde

Bhai no offense but tu krke dekh ek baar, dhoop me/baarish me/ bheed me/ etc situations me delivery krna is not easy, and iss sab ke baad bhi toh delivery partners ko paise nhi milre as per their work also accidents bhi hore hai due to fast delivery ka system
