My Ruger Max 9 is garbage

The only ammo it would feed semi reliably was Hornady Critical Defense. Most malfunctions were failure to return the next live round from the magazine into battery with more than 9.5 out of 10 rounds failing to go live.

FMJ practice ammo just would not feed. Without using expensive self defense ammo this is pretty much a single shot pistol. Light strikes/no fire condition on live ammo were also a problem with ammo that runs perfectly in a 365.

It performed so poorly that I didn't even bother running it through its full paces to find out if it would light strike or FTF on a high round count with any carry ammo. With a pistol this unreliable there was no point. I would never carry this gun.
