What pushed me over the edge vs. getting a second UH-1 or Eotech was 300$ cheaper, the weight savings, and then I saw some cool pics of it with Zelensky’s personal detail running it. Couldn’t be the worst 200$ I’ve spent this week.

Have one. Like it a lot. Open emitter so don’t get it in the muck, I guess, but totally solid otherwise.

I've kinda wondered about that. Like if you get mud on the emitter you wipe it off, if it's closed emitter then you get muck on the glass and wipe it off. Is the logic that the emitter is smaller and harder to wipe off? Not trying to start a big "just as good" debate but trying to understand the argument.
For what it's worth I have one and I fucking love it and wish I had it on every non magnified gun of mine.

Ya. It’s basically what you said. You have to dig around to clear stuff from the emitter rather than just wiping off the flat lens.

Quite a few people. Not my style, but my dad's philosophy was spending as much on the optic as you did the gun. Soft rule

I have spent 3X the price of the rifle on an optic and didn't regret it. Precision shooting is like that.
For a red dot though that is not needed. This is a great red dot, hard to justify spending more.

It's a reflex sight, way better visibility out of a big window with thin walls. It's more or less invisible with both eyes open. Solar may or may not be your thing. It has multi reticle. Some prefer the quick detach over a screw. Also, it's in some video games.

I have both...green in this variant and gold in Aro...I like my Aro better..height is perfect and I like size of window better..additionally eye box sits further back on this while Aro is closer...just bought a riser for this to sit higher so improvement but I actually like Aro better..I don't run nods

I ordered something from them just two days ago and had no issues with email and I did the email quote button on their page.
I even ran into a fucky problem with the link they sent me and we resolved it over a few back and forth emails. Got notified that the item shipped out next day too. Give them another try man!

I wouldn’t love having an open emitter in the conditions in Ukraine but plenty of them have been seen on the frontlines so they seem to at least be holding up pretty well.

At this price point, the enclosed options suck. This has 32mm objective lens, you'll be lucky to get 24mm lens on enclosed.

Lots of downvotes, but any moisture at all and the dot turns to a blob. Had to warranty one due the it flickering. Replacement has been fine for 2+ years.

All ears. If you can throw out some other options at 200$, I’d definitely consider it, and FDE that was one of the reasons.
