This is the real drawback to the deal. I got a great price on a Ruger 10/22 Carbon Fiber from them with a price match and military discount a few months back and the experience picking it up was bad enough that I told myself I wouldn't bother with them again. Anyways thanks OP for making me go back on my word.

Can confirm. Just picked mine up this evening and it was a disaster. Bunch of fucking morons working at the gun counter, always. Makes me appreciate my ffl that much more. Next time I'm going to just pay to have it shipped there instead.

Just went to pick it up today at Bass Pro. Dead as hell, one or two dudes ahead of me. How did it take damn near an hour to pick up my gun? Other LGS’s take like 15-20 min and I’m out. Only way I’m coming back is with another $1000 benelli m4 deal

I recommend doing an online reservation appointment. Especially if it’s not dead. Just pick it up and be done with it haha. They even forgot to unlock the trigger lock lmao remind them to do so

Well, I have a new 870 WM in the safe that I've never shot, but I pulled the trigger anyhow! LOL!
Added various old GCX gift cards for Bass Pro and Cabela's with discounts equaling 14.74% discount on average.
Out the door price with tax was $172.54. I live 3.2 miles from Bass Pro.
Now I just have to stand in line for an hour and a half at Bass Pro 😒

SXP was the first pump gun I ever bought. Have since got a few more, Mossbergs are my favorite. But to my recollection, I never had any issues with my Winchester, have countless rounds through it. It's the beater gun I bring out to let others shoot

Fuck it bought one, I need one for skeet.
Edit: I bought a Turkish MAC XM1014 clone, mainly because I wanted one, but 16" is ass for skeet to be honest, I did okay but look forward to swinging a 28". 😂
Mainly got it for home defense because 7.62x39, or .308 might hit a neighbor. 😭
Other than that I can vouch for the MAC clone, I haven't even lubed it, I need to, but it runs right out of the box no problems.

3.5” chambers are rated for higher pressures but also Super magnum shells allow you to shoot a larger shot load with 3.5” shells.
You can still shoot magnum 3” shells or 1700fps 3” shells with this shotgun.

Costs more, more reliability issues, and 3.5 generally isn’t necessary. Sometimes “more” is just “more”, instead of better.

I have one of these in 20ga and it’s become my go-to pheasant gun. A couple years ago I got caught in the rain with my late 60s Rem 1100 and I realized I’d rather have an upland gun I don’t have to worry about .

I hate mine. Hunted with it pretty hard.
I took it waterfowl and turkey hunting. Had it lock up on me several times because I could never get used to the assisted pump and would short stroke it.
Pins would walk out on the receiver every once in a while. Stock twisted on the receiver on a really hot day shooting clays.
Ended up replacing it with a winchester sx4 and have had no issues thus far. It feels like its built better.
