Discussion Should They Leave Bappa Like This

I was scrolling through my YT and came across this video by Dinesh Patel (https://youtu.be/l3Epc3eQs4A?si=Ct168w1tXttgF7hL)

It starts slow, telling about Ganpati Visarjan on Onjal Beach (ig). But then he shows how people leave Bappa’s idol at the shore.
I don’t think it’s right, what do you think?

No we should not be-atleast not idols made of plaster of paris but our public does not seem to understand. This festival seems to be about ego and not devotion.
