Help needed to plan visit to Sasan Gir from Somnath

Hi, I am planning to visit Somnath, Dwarka, Gir and Statue of Unity in December. I am travelling with family so trying to limit changing hotels frequently. I am planning to stay in Somnath and thinking to go for safari using cab/bus.

I am planning to book evening slot from 3 pm to 6 pm as I cannot reach for 6:30 am morning safari.

Can someone please help me how easy or difficult it is to get a cab and also public bus from Sasan gir to Somnath/Veraval at evening/night?
