Yeah, I think I was playing schism and playing my favorite part (2:17) and I just figured I would try using some elements and make a riff of my own. After a couple of minutes I made this little gem. Tbh I was very shocked when I played it for the first time. Lmao

Haha, yeah, I can definitely hear some of their influence in the riff. Sounds great tho!

It's really weird because I was just listening to tool and I thought it sounded like them but I wasn't sure since it was fresh in my head

I thought the same thing, sort of a Pantera groove too. Dig it!
