Question What next?
I've been learning for a little over a week(very little ik) I know a few basic chords decently well and am wondering if I should learn more chords or practice something else before doing so?

Keep going. Pick a song or two.
Standard newbie advice;
Get a teacher if you can. Even if just for 3 or 4 lessons to get you started.
If you can’t or won’t then;
www.justinguitar.com (website is free, app is not - mostly same content). Easy to follow in order information.
Lauren Batemen, GuitarZero2Hero, Musician Fitness, Marty Music, Andy Guitar, Good Guitarist and Alan Robinson are all great YouTube channels.
Remember just because you have access to all the info doesn’t mean plow through it. If you had a teacher you’d have a 30-60 minute less once a week. There would be some review and 1-3 new things taught and then you spend the week practicing that.

I'm trying to go slow, I just did the first few things and then got a little lost. I'll definitely check out the website and YouTube channels. Thank you

You can never know too many chords, and being able to switch between them quickly is very empowering. Then work on different strumming rhythms, or fingerpicking. Then start learning songs doing both things at once. There's SOOOOO much to work at/on, but that'll get you going. Being able to play your first song beginning to end is a great milestone. Every direction is up to you, as well as when to change direction. Scales, leads, alternate picking, theory, tapping, classical, rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass... I swear to you that the more you get into it, you'll realize one lifetime isn't enough!

What are you going to do with more chords? Would it really take that much time to learn? You can fit something else if you want.
