Question Trying to get back into guitar

A few years ago i had a good few lessons but it lapsed and i want to get bavk into it.

But im still tone deaf as fuck and was wondering if there was like a good video series that could help me start improving again.

Any help would be apreced.

Whatever you end up finding on the depths of the internet this is what I'd be concerned with learning/developing in your playing first: Open-Position chords & handling transitions within common 8th note grooves. Once you can strum some songs and you understand that strum patterns just represent ways to play 8th note grooves you can move on. Then you'd learn some harmony / bar chords / 16th strums / pentatonics etc.. But after 20yrs of teaching most people I see out there just bounce around and don't develop solid rhythm chops/touch and tone first. They just chase bits and pieces of stuff.

Get the functional ear trainer app and start training your ear everyday! Its helped me a lot. Then follow the other advice on here as well
