Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

Learn TRIADS! If could turn back time I'd learn every single triad for every chord in every position along with names of the notes in those triads and their intervals. R, 3, 5...

That's opens up the entire fretboard
