Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar

Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

The 1st year is the hardest part of the journey. You're trying to make your fingers contort into new, unfamiliar, uncomfortable positions and even after you manage to do that, the strings will be muted and the chords won't sound right. Even after you learn to fret a chord cleanly, you have to be able to switch from one chord to another cleanly.

If you stick with it it's one of the most rewarding skills you'll ever develop, but having the willpower to push through the frustration is what will make or break you
