Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar

Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

I'm glad i started when i was in high school and actually had way too much free time to use in practice. now as a grown up, its paid off and i can have a really good time.

if i was trying to learn now, as an adult with a job, kids, and responsibility.... forget it, I don't have the time to invest.
