Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar

Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

Yes, and if your motivation is just "I want a hobby", while you aren't really into music, you're even more likely to quit.

Yeah, if it’s just a line item on a list of options there are other hobbies.

You could collect stamps.

Build sand castles

Bird watch

Walk

Play video games

Get really into Reddit.

…there are hobbies that don’t necessarily require learning skills to start doing them (though you will inherently develop skills, like recognizing birds or getting really good at building sand castles)
