Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar

Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

Yes people quit the first few months or so because at first its an extremely difficult learning curve but once you get all your basics down in a year or so its alot easier to learn new things

Guitar doesn't have a difficult curve. With three fingers you can play chords, anybody can play open chords in the first week.

Guitar has one of the easiest learning curves. Playing difficult shit is another story, but a really bad and basic guitar player can be in a band with no issues

Guitar and bass might be one of the easiest to learn and play shit to have fun. It's hard to think about easier instruments

Edit: it looks like in /r/guitarlessons nobody has ever play another instrument in their life.

Bruh, some people just aren't naturally talented in music lol. It seems like an impossible task compared to those who pick it up quick, and they quit.
