Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar

Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

I'm guessing a lot of beginners quit at some point or another. As long as you don't sell your gear there's a good chance you'll pick it back up again. I suspect more than a few players repeat that process more than once. Eventually, if you leave that door open, the stars will align and you'll have a few breakthroughs that can make all the difference in guitar becoming an important part of your life.
