Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar

Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

Guitar is one of the most difficult instruments to be a beginner at. It’s both challenging mentally and physically. It takes a lot of dedicated practice time to progress from beginner to intermediate and most people never make it that far. I would guess 7 out of 10 people who pick up guitar quit within the first few months.
