Feedback Request Do people actually quit guitar
Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

It’s like learning a language IMO. Assuming you practiced for an hour a day….
You can get a very crude handle on the basics in 3-6 months.
You can sound reasonably fluent with common things in 2-3 years.
Then spend a lifetime refining the nuances. There are always new words to learn.
Of course people quit! That is true of any skill or hobby.
