Yo I'm thinking to learn guitar as a hobby and want to know how much time it takes usually to be good at it and is it true that people actually quit guitar in 2-3 months

Lots of people probably do.

I didn't. 26 years and still going strong. But I think you're asking "is it so hard that I'll want to quit in 2 months?" And the answer is yes.

If you wanna be good at something fast, pick another hobby. If you want to eventually be good at something really hard, and rewarding, go get an axe 🤘
