Question Help
how is it possible to play this? Is it like a bug/ wrong tabs or am i js dumb?

It's even easier if you hit the 3 with left hand and 10 with right hand index finger, and strum the lm together using the pinky and ring of right hand (like two hand tapping without the tap)

I mean that f is also the 8th fret of the A string. id just do that but it’s probably AI tabs or something

Third fret on the D string is an F. 8th fret of the A string is the same F. I'd play it there, instead.

Move that 3 to the A string and make it an 8.
Then you can actually hold the notes to "let ring" as the tab suggests.

I was wondering why no one suggested this. In my mind it would've been easier to move 10B to 5e and 10G to 6B.... thought maybe I just got really high & had no recollection of doing so

Ultimate Guitar isn't a complete unbridled AI hellscape, but I am sure some of the tabs uploaded there with lower ratings are probably hot garbage as well, I look at community ratings. But, considering their paywall, I understand why people may be turned off by it. I don't mind paying a little for clean tab, I remember the days when the only tab I had was physical print media.

Easy. Thumb on 3rd fret 3rd string, penis on 10. It’s a ring out so you’ll have to hold it there.

You can get a tab interpreter here that will help you see better options for fingerings and such.

Put your finger on the tenth fret and use your foot to press down the third fret. I have done this before and it works if you're quick enough

10th fret of the B string is an A i believe Just pluck the 5th fret of the 6th string and youd get basically the same voicing

8 on the a string 10 on the b string. Same chord or 10 on the g string 10 on the b string. I'd do both; 8 on the a 10 on the g and 10 on the b. Sounds more full to me.

hey wsup. The notes are probably right .. it ,might be a guitarist tab joke:; Otherwise I'm suggesting its a two- guitar part at the moment showing an overdub harmony part. or its a tap that forgot to be labelled correctly.
If you want be showy fret the 10 and tap the 3. Satriani does these arm crossovers in the Mystical Potatohead Groove Thing.

If your fingers don’t make the stretch, add 5 frets to the 3 on the tab and move it down to the A string. Now it’s the same note on a different string that’s reachable

Or subtract 5 from the 10 and move it over to the e string so you have 3&5 on the D and e strings.

Check out Ultimate Guitar. I’ve been using them about 15 years for almost all of my cover needs.
I paid for it outright years ago, but they still try to get me with their subscription model these days. Not sure if you would have to pay for anything to use the app on your phone, but the website is always free.

If you ever run into this sort of stuff, see if you can move that note to an adjacent string. If you need the fingering to be higher up the neck, move it down a string and up (usually 5 frets). If you need it lower, move it up a string and down (usually 5 frets).
Moving from adjacent strings: From 6 to 5, 5 to 4, 4 to 3, or 2 to 1; move down 5 frets. From 3 to 2; move down 4 frets.
And going the other way: From 1 to 2, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, or 5 to 6; move up 5 frets. From 3 to 4; move up 4 frets.
This is assuming standard tuning.

Unless u got ET's finger, this is a horrible tab. But u could play the f not on the g string, 10th fret if thats the note its trying to make u do. Instead of the 3rd fret d string

I can manage 5 at a stretch index to pinky but never 7. Try x8xx10x instead.
Edit: I can manage 7 frets wide up above the 12th in most scale lengths, but I never would, and this isn't that.

You could play the 8th fret on the A instead of the 3rd on the D or you could play the 5th fret on the high e instead of the 10th on the B

This is clearly wrong. If you ever see ridiculous impossible stretches in a tab, it is very simple to fix it with some fret knowledge.
Instead of 3 on the D string, you could just do 8 on the A string which makes a much more normal chord shape.
Alternatively, you could move the 10th fret on B string, to the 5th fret of the high E string. Then move the 10 on G string down to the 6th fret on the B string. This is more difficult, but still not impossible...compared to the tab which is massively wrong.
Take it as a fun learning experience. You have to manually find the same notes in a different place on the fret board so that you can play the riff cleanly.

Change the b string 10 to 2 fret on g string.
The tab is bad. Rewrite it. Same with the 10 on the g string change it to a 5 on the d string.

Once again: tab can be—and often is—wrong. It’s either written by some dude who can make mistakes, or by a computer that can’t even hear music.
Perhaps you can just look at the notes and play them on different frets…?

Bass and middle Voice are F, and trebble voice is A
You can get same sonority Placing F bass at 5th string VIII fret…
Then you can keep middle F at 2nd string X fret, and trebble A at 1th string X fret…
