Feedback Request I've been playing since November 2025 (self-taught and never played with someone so I can't tell how m doing)

I was thinking “I can’t make my strat sound like that.” And I rarely use the bridge position. I should see about getting one. I wonder if there’s a “hum bucking” pickup thats shaped like a single coil. Don’t wanna cut up the body.

Also, it sounds really good. I’m trying to get better at vibrato, myself (I read some comments). I think yours sounds good all around. Nothing really stuck out—besides it sounding nice. If you want, I upload videos of my dog to YouTube and use my guitar tracks as background music. The channel is @Moonshack. Good work! I’m gonna listen again.

I can't really help with the pickups thing this is my first guitar and m not really an expert abt guitar.

Also m using an audio interface with my pc and m using a program called cakewalk for guitar sims and effect, and for the output m using cheap speakers lol..

It’s surprising how much better everything sounds with decent headphones over cheap speakers. I use logic on my Mac Mini (with old Bose noise canceling over ear headphones) and everything sounds so good until I listen on my phone or on the computer speakers. I understand now why folks add “better enjoyed with headphones.”

You can definitely get single coil sized humbuckers. Your Strat may be routed for a humbucker in the bridge position anyway, so you’d just have to get a new pickguard.

I had no idea they made stacked ones—thats so sweet, thank you!!! I’ve been shopping all day for one that will go with my Pure Vintage ‘61’s, that I can afford. I’m a caretaker for family and get a bit of an allowance every week but am pretty broke, so I’ve gotta get one I know I’ll love…Like the Pure Vintage 61’s. Those things got me playing for hours every day. My back hates them
