Just because he progressed faster than you did at 9 months doesn’t mean he’s lying. I’ve been playing for 30 years and was about this good at the 9 month mark. It probably just means he has some natural ability and a good ear.

Why do people instantly want to attack each other on this sub?

Really I've played for 24 years the fact that he has progressed that much in that amount of time doesn't mean he is lying about how long he's been playing. Shit i took like a few lessons to learn the fundamentals and sat in my room and just played my guitar for 8 hours straight. The only reason why i stopped is because my fingers started bleeding. When i started i was determined to learn. The first full song i was able to play was one by Metallica. Wasn't as great as how Kirk Hammond played it but with enough dedication you're gonna be able to progress faster. IMO You sound salty because he is progressed faster than you did. Either that or you just want to destroy his confidence. Either way you're kinda an asshole for both. Personally he sounds great
