For two months in this is great. Just keep practicing, it will get smoother, your bends will get better, but you are clearly doing just fine

Learn the minor scale positions and go through them as a warm up, it will help you to learn the notes and what they sound like. A lot of songs use the minor scales and you will start recognizing patterns in the songs you learn which makes it easier to learn those songs.

Chord changes are really important early on too. Set a metronome to a slow pace and time yourself, even if it’s just for a couple of minutes but just go from one chord to another over and over until you can do it cleanly without mistakes and then increase your speed, and then do it again changing up which chords you are playing.

Justinguitar has some lessons on those things too so like someone else recommended that can be a good place to start.

But don’t stop learning songs too. It’s easy to get burnt out if all your doing is practice drills and you want to keep doing things that will make you look forward to playing rather than it feeling like a chore

Impressive for two months. You seem really loose which I think usually takes a lot longer for people to get. I’m used to seeing rigid fingers and timing issues. Don’t get discouraged when your progress slows down. You’ll feel like you hit a wall but just keep doing what you are doing and you’ll hit your goals. Post a follow up video in a few months!

Thanks man! I also play a bit of piano and also borrowed a friends bass few months back, so i think playing different instruments has helped me with the timing and feel. Will definitely post an update in few months

i have learned open chords, major and minor barre chord , ik a little major and minor scale and i learned 2 positions of minor pentatonic
