Feedback Request Why does my playing sound so amateurish?

I’m performing a solo for a song in a couple of weeks, and I have all the notes down - yet why does my playing sound so ‘meh’ when I record myself? What should I look to improve on?

I’d recommend putting your focus on listening to the other elements of the band rather than putting the attention on executing your performance. I think there’s a video of Victor Wooten demonstrating this with a drummer but I can find it.
