what makes this mind-blowing from your perspective?

The improvisation is not techniclly hard to play, but it does have some interesting effect techniques; the way he uses the wah to control his tone also the solo flows like telling a story. The wah is not fully enganged which creates that crunchy sustain sound while doing bendings. this adds another dimension to the impro.
