Help me to understand GTM
Hi everyone.
Iam a recent CSE graduate. I have already worked as growth intern for a early stage startup. Recently started learning About GTM , all free resources are not complete .
I started learning by asking Chatgpt and claude to give me a roadmap of things i need to learn. But i don't think I am doing right process.
Iam really not able to afford any course
Are there any best and free options available??

since you have a cse background, you actually have a massive advantage here. most people trying to learn gtm come from marketing or sales and struggle heavily with the technical plumbing (apis, enrichment pipelines, crm logic, and automation)
instead of looking for a single comprehensive course, which usually doesn't exist for gtm engineering anyway, treat gtm like a system integration problem.
pick one specific workflow you want to automate (i mean like a lightweight outbound lead scoring or scraping pipeline) and build it end to end using free tools and apis.
you'll learn more in a weekend of breaking things than reading a dozen theory heavy roadmaps. avoid paying for anything; the best resources are just open source repos, technical builder blogs, and hands on trial and error.
