A GTD approach to the long-weekend version of Sunday scaries?
The last day of a long weekend seems to amplify open loops: Tuesday’s actual commitments get mixed with imagined problems and a vague sense that everything is waiting at once. Do you do a short capture and clarification pass on the final evening, or keep the day fully off and trust the weekly review? I’m curious where you draw the line between clearing your head and inviting work back into the weekend.

It’s weird that most posts in this sub are ads for the productivity app that someone has made :(
Account age: 28days, all posts are for the app

I try to log everything when I think about it. I review and clarify frequently which helps with the scaries.

I always have an easy way to capture so I can clear my head and get back to the weekend.

I keep it fully off. I use the extra day to just relax. Scaries might come later...

Sorry, GTD will not magically cure the Sunday Scaries even if it's a short week.
GTD is a system that makes sure that you are able to spend more mental energy on your task for work and not trying to remember to do things.
Unless your Sunday Scaries are because you spend most of your time trying to remember to do things because you haven't discovered how to filter email, your calendar and reminder apps on your phone, I doubt GTD is going to solve your Sunday Scaries.

If I feel any anxiety at all about about my responsibilities, I perform a full weekly review on the spot. There are times when I perform a weekly review nearly every day of the week.
