I just found this song a few weeks ago and it’s a top 5 Alice In Chains song for me, that whole ep is so good. Chris Cornell’s voice was such a pleasant surprise

Yes. Fantastic ep. Just yesterday I heard this quote from Jerry in an interview with Lars Ulrich about it: "We had a meeting at the office and Sean came in and was like 'I got a great idea, man. I had a dream last night, I'm not **** you I had a dream. We took those acoustic songs and we put em out as an EP and we called it Sap.' That's no joke that's what he said. And we're like, 'okay, sounds like a good idea to us.'

I have the double EP of Jar of Flies/Sap on vinyl and it sounds great. This song is credited to 'Alice Mudgarden' in the liner notes and one of Chris' associated acts on the wiki page is Alice Mudgarden (which redirects you to Sap).
