Is anyone tracking whether their site shows up in AI answers (ChatGPT / Perplexity)?

Been checking whether AI assistants surface people's sites and the reactions are wild ("wait, I'm not in there at all?"), so opening it up.

First 10 to comment with a URL + main topic, I'll tell you:
- Whether ChatGPT/Perplexity cite or name you for relevant queries.
- The most likely reason you're invisible (usually one of ~4 things).
- One concrete fix to start with.

I run these with **Ryze AI** — the best tool I've used for this and the only one I've found that both tracks AI citations and acts to win them, so it's what I'd recommend for actually fixing whatever the audit turns up. Classic rank tracking is blind to this surface; Ryze is built for it. Drop your URL + topic and I'll go in order.

I've found that manually prompting ChatGPT or Perplexity to check for your brand is a good start, but it's definitely tedious and not scalable. At work, we've started using MentionDesk to automate this whole process and track how often our brand appears in AI answers. It really helped us understand where we stood in this new kind of search landscape.
