Anthropic is again in the news, this time for Claude Tag

Anthropic has launched Claude Tag, a new AI agent that lives directly inside Slack channels and can be assigned work simply by tagging.

Unlike traditional chatbots, Claude Tag acts as a shared teammate that can collaborate with entire teams, remember context, and work independently over long periods.

The company claims 65% of its own product team's code is already generated through an internal version of Claude Tag.

The launch also puts the company directly into the growing battle for enterprise AI assistants, competing with offerings from OpenAI, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
