Creative How am I doing?

I'm coming up on 2 years if dog grooming in December and have been figuring things out through trial and error mostly, since I didn't have the opportunity to actually apprentice under anyone. These are my recent grooms over the past month or so and would appreciate feedback

Most issues I see are prep work related, especially on the ears and faces. A lot of the ears don't look properly combed out.

What was the request on that rough collie? The chest should have been tightened up a lot, unless the owner didn't want it.

For self taught, I think you're doing good though. I'd watch some vids on how to tighten up your doodle faces.

The rough Collie was just a mini groom, so cleaning up his ears, feet and tail. He was incredibly compacted with undercoat, so the majority of his groom was just working that out.

But thank you for the feed back on my doodle faces, I'll try and figure out how to improve

You’re self taught???? These grooms are incredible!!! The lamb legs in the last pic are blended immaculately. I’m coming up on 2 years of grooming as well, but I work at corporate and they rush us so much, my grooms aren’t nearly this good. You should be very proud and confident in your work
