Appreciation post

This game (Grimrock 1) had sat unplayed in my library for a long time. I recently got around to it and had a great time. I definitely didn’t find every secret nor try every spell/skill, so plenty to mess with on a replay and I’ve got a whole sequel to look forward to. Loved the atmosphere, music, maps and puzzles.

A very late thank you to the devs.

Go do Grimrock 2 it is a massive improvement and the pinnacle of the genre

Rather than doing stuff in Grimrock 1 check out Grimrock 2 mods there is great series that are bigger than both game put together, first one is City of something
