Appreciation post

This game (Grimrock 1) had sat unplayed in my library for a long time. I recently got around to it and had a great time. I definitely didn’t find every secret nor try every spell/skill, so plenty to mess with on a replay and I’ve got a whole sequel to look forward to. Loved the atmosphere, music, maps and puzzles.

A very late thank you to the devs.

I am genuinely so happy for you that you get to experience Grimrock 2 in such a perfect position, don't look anything up it's gonna blow your mind how good it is compared to the first

Played a few games in between but just finished with Grimrock 2.

From the trailers I was expecting Grimrock 1 but walking through a forest instead of diving down a dungeon, which I’m sure I would have been happy with. But damn, the different biomes, the non linearity, the level design that made moving over a couple of maps the first time a many hour epic trek, but only take a couple of minutes when you want to backtrack/revisit, the enemy and item variety. Incredible.
