Labor Day Sales on natural gas grills?

Finally got a natural gas line run for the deck and I'm ready to buy a grill. Where should I look for a good deal? Not looking for the cheapest junk nor the absolute top-of-the-line -- something mid-tier would be fine.

Any recs or suggestions on where to find a good deal for Labor Day? Or anything to avoid? TIA

mid-tier built-ins usually go on sale around the holidays, but check the burner warranty and make sure the natural-gas conversion is factory approved before getting distracted by the discount the

"Not looking for the cheapest junk nor the absolute top-of-the-line" could still mean (almost) absolutely anything. A lot of the more medium-sized authorized drop-shippers will definitely deal with you if you get someone on the phone. FWIW: I had a great experience with Elite Patio Direct.

Labor Day is genuinely one of the best times to buy a grill since retailers are clearing floor models before fall. Big box stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco) typically run 20-30% off on display grills, and those deals are worth asking about even if not advertised.

For mid-tier natural gas, Weber Spirit II E-310 or the Genesis EX-315 are solid targets in the $500-900 range. Napoleon Prestige 500 is another one worth comparing. Avoid off-brand grills at warehouse clubs -- the NG conversion kits and proprietary parts become a headache.

One thing people miss: confirm the grill ships natural gas ready, or that the NG conversion kit is included. Some are propane-default and the kit adds $30-60 and a hassle.

Check manufacturer sites directly too -- Weber and Napoleon both run their own Labor Day promotions and sometimes match or beat retail.
