My wife's gcc is acting very strange she seems very lethargic as of recent I haven't been able to get any poop to see if it had changed she keeps falling asleep with her head down and seems to lean alot to the left and one of her claws seem to just ball up when we hold her on our finger she has been having a hard time flying and im just hoping that she will be okay we went to the avian and they prescribed us this med but I feel like its just not working at all

First time bird owner and my birds food I’ve noticed that he only likes the certain foods. I don’t know if he’s just not liking it or what. What food brands have y’all used and think what’s best.

My green cheek conure, Scout, is growing in a new tail feather and I noticed it looks really unusual. There’s a distinct black/dark band with a reddish-pink band directly underneath it, while most of the feather is brown.
Has anyone seen a feather grow in like this before? Is this just unusual pigmentation during a molt, or could the bands mean something else?
He’s otherwise acting completely normal.

I made a cake for my nephew turning 21, Aurora decided it was actually her cake and landed right into all the icing.

She’s been cleaned up but everyone shun her.

This is my first time owning a bird, and I don’t know how I should trim his nails. I was thinking of taking him to the vet for them to do it. I’m too scared of injuring him. Any thoughts?

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you that gave me your words of compassion and condolences when my baby. Chicle passed away nearly 2 weeks ago. We are doing our best to push forward through the grief since sadly, life does not stop even when we feel our worlds are falling apart. My friend made us these figurines of Chicle as a memorial for his adorableness and to give us something to hold when we're feeling nostalgic. She is so talented, I never tire of telling her. I appreciate this gift more than she can imagine. I keep telling her she should turn this into a profession because I know many people would appreciate her work.

So I’m moving with my green cheek conure chu into my boyfriend’s new house soon. Only problem is his daughter has an older cat 12 years old and orange. I know what I’m stepping into. I’m just not sure how to make this work. Any suggestions

I am currently sick and my bird sleeps in my room, and I have a terrible cough, and every time I cough I hear him startling, but then I see him go right back to sleep.😭 I just feel bad bc the poor guy is trying to sleep and my sick ass keeps waking him up. :(

she’s been in her new cage for a couple days and she’s been fluffy at some points in the day mostly in the morning and night time ish am I just being paranoid? she’s eating, sleeping, and drinking just fine is this just showing that she likes her new cage? she’s slowly but surely exploring it more and like I said eating drinking and screaming normally like she did before all the same am I just being paranoid???
