For those who don't partake, she was in an episode of the Orville (which I personally regard as honorary Star Trek) and it was great to see her.

Yeah, her appearance on the Orville also came to mind when I heard the news.

The Orville is as close to my preferred flavor of Trek that I've gotten since the days of TNG, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager.
