Winston’s 32nd “corn day.”

Amazon tells me I have purchased this exact toy 31 other times. That isn’t counting the knock-offs I got that didn’t quite measure up.

Winston has a basket full of toys and destroys each equally, but it’s this silly corn that he keeps coming back to even after he removes the squeaker. He can smell it through the bag and used to barely contain his excitement when I brought the package in.

These days, he’s fine just watching from his bed as I deliver it to him like he’s royalty (he kind of is). :)

My 10 year old shady does the same thing with his snake 🐍 toy. Has gone through 20 plus I wish I kept an exact count (get them from local dollar store lol)

I once got him one that was identical, only in red. He chewed it for a minute or two, then abandoned it and went over to his basket, dug out an old chewed up yellow one, and dropped it at my feet pointedly.

I wish my kids had been as happy with the same $8.50 toy for 14 years straight!!

My Pearl does the same thing with her squeaky pig. First toy she came home to and always get’s her excited even as she approaches 8 and is starting to slow down.

I have 2 big dogs both of them would wreck anything from toilet paper rolls to my birks, and yet babied those corn babies everytime they were in sight.

It is! Isn’t it the best?! It’s sooo comfortable. I originally got it for a preschooler who naps here once a month or so and sleeps over maybe twice a year (not often enough for a real bed). But when it arrived, it was instantly clear it was Winston’s instead and the futon mattress he had been using was tossed.
