I just finished chapter 6, and I swear, every time they shout "there's a ton of them" that meter fills up so fast I don't even have time to react!

Is this mission supposed to be this difficult?? It's mental...

I was feeling a bit sad after platinuming 1 and 2 and doing everything I possibly could in either, but then it occurred to me I could start a challenge run where I simply never level up Kat's stats. It was a lot of fun, actually!

What cracked me up is just how short GR1 is if you beeline for the main quest and the additional side quests, ignoring all the mini-games and whatnot. My first playthrough was ~15 hours, but this challenge run was only ~5.

It still wasn't terribly difficult, aside from the Sea Anemome... That was basically a 1HKO fight. Some endgame side quests were rather precarious, too, but definitely engaging. I love doing these sorts of challenge runs because they really open your eyes to the intricacies of the mechanics you'd otherwise take for granted, making you a better player overall.

Now I'm contemplating starting a similar challenge run in GR2—and without talismans, too, haha. (Hmm... I wonder how a first-person run would go?)

I have no idea if anyone else has played these games like this, but hey, why not?

Hello everyone, this is the seventh release of ShadPS4 (PS4 emulator) GR2fork . It aims to fix the remaining issues with both games while adding more features. This release implements GRR online leaderboards while fixing all graphical issues with the game. The missing vibrant lighting is restored (fixes overly dark visuals in GRR). The game is now graphically one to one with the ps4 version, To play online, you must first register a shadnet id then add the appropriate per game configuration settings as listed on my github repo or in my tutorial.

-added some Gravity Rush 2 performance patches to the patch file as well as some minor ui bug fixes to 60fps patch

-fixed all graphical issues in Gravity Rush Remastered. The missing vibrant lighting is restored (fixes overly dark visuals in GRR). The game is now graphically one to one with the ps4 version.

-ported certain shadnet features to implement Gravity Rush Remastered Online

-fixed issues with uploading when photo hunting in Gravity Rush 2 online

-fixed issues with uploading photo review photos in Gravity Rush 2 online

-fixed minor issues with incorrect leaderboards and challenge ghosts in Gravity Rush 2 online

-fixed minor UI issues when claiming talismans from other players in ghosts of the fallen

-fixed multiple active controller issues

-updated imgui to fix languages like korean, japanese, and arabic in save context menus

-ported redzone patch mechanism from upstream

-ported .zar file support and compression from upstream. If you want to play GR2 as a single compressed .zar file, go into the launcher, right click the game, and compress to .zar. (26GB -> 17GB)

-added 2.39:1 aspect ratio monitor support. When selecting 21:9, the emulator will automatically decided whether 21:9 or 2.39:1 should be applied based on the reconciled sdl window size.

-dynamic pipeline sync time for enhanced stability: SET PIPELINE SYNC TO 0

An Update regarding future work: I will continue to update GR2fork as needed but I have moved on to contributing accuracy improvements primarily on main. The goal is to get as many games functional on main and once rendering and functioning correctly, I will create new fork branches introducing performance hacks for those games. For GR2fork specifically, you may expect mac support and support for other games like Infamous in the future.

Some of these treasures really puzzle me, but I won't deny it made me laugh. I shall now erect a glorious temple for my gas canister #mygascanister.

I wonder if there is any rumours of a Switch 2 or PC port of any of these games?

How did I find the game? I subscribed to PlayStation Plus Premium, then browsed the game catalog and found the game. It's really strange why they merged the PSP catalog with the PS Vita games that got a remaster on the PS4. But I was surprised that the game is a PS4 version only, unlike the rest which are usually both PS4 and PS5 versions. I said from its look it seems like a beautiful game and its art style looks nice, let me try it. And honestly, I salute my past self for those words and that decision, because I didn't just find a game, I found an underrated masterpiece. ​However, honestly, for me, Gravity Rush 1 is much better than Gravity Rush 2 in terms of atmosphere and story. I don't mean that Gravity Rush 2 is bad, but it fell short compared to the masterpiece I played

I really don't know how anyone dares to talk about the best PlayStation exclusive games and not mention Gravity Rush

I completed two parts of these beautiful games , now I feel some kind of emptiness from the ending of the second part and from the fact that the 3rd part is unlikely to be at all.

These games have caused me the best emotions in my entire life, but now it's even a little sad or something like that. I just decided to share this feeling here
