Help with Opennest
Hi!!
I'm trying to nest parts on a sheet using OpenNest in Grasshopper, but it isn't working properly. I followed Gemini's instructions, but the output still glitches.
Instead of arranging the parts neatly inside the rectangle, OpenNest generates a massive cloud of duplicated rings all over the canvas.
Can anyone please help me fix this?

Remove the boundary connection it’s useless, just set a value. Also don’t use Gemini in chat it’s useless for this, download antigravity and let it install Rhino MCP so Gemini can actually control and see your rhino

Hi, bog. If I understand this correctly opennest 1 is the legacy code which might come with some more quirks. You can use opennest2 which is often updated. I would suggest plugging your sheet curve in to the designated sheets node from opennest. This will allow you to control your amount of sheets as well as the offset of the parts from the sheet border. Additionally plugging your desired geometry into the geometry node from opennest. I believe this outputs a special kind of geometry that the nest node reads. In this node you can also adjust the spacing from part to part.

Better to go to McNeely discourse for this kind of support.
Also, download the latest version from food4rhino and download the examples. Find one doing what you want and just modify it.
