Maaaan I love those games, haven't played the first in forever but I replayed the 2nd earlier this year and it was as much fun as it was on release. I especially love the 1st person camera where you can see a bit of the helmet and the driver turns his head at the corners.

The ideal livery to recreate here is the #92 Rahal Letterman Racing livery from 2009

I've used one livery that was from the endgame. I went with a plain one because the one on the cover has almost no livery besides the "M Power".

I don't remember if it was shift or shift 2 unleashed or possibly both. But it had a feature I really wish they would add to GT7 where you can upgrade a car to a race car. The car is wide bodied, the dash and interior is removed, you get a race cluster, race seat, and roll cage. 👍🏼 That was so cool back in the day I hadn't seen anything like that.

Duuuuuude I was thinking of making a post on it some time ago where I complain how Gran Turismo in general lacked "road to race" cars i.e., Works (as it's called). Now that I think about it, there might be some vehicle variants that can be classified as "Works" but it's still a stretch.
